a poem

I fear that i will always be
a lonely number like root three
a three is all that's good and right,
why must my three keep out of sight
beneath a vicious square root sign?
I wish instead i were a nine,
for nine could thwart this evil trick
with just some quick arithmetic.
I know I'll never see the sun
as one point seven three two one.
such is my reality, a sad irrationality
when hark! what is this I see?
another square root of a three has quietly come waltzing by.
together now we multiply and form a number we prefer,
rejoicing as an integer.
we break free from our mortal bonds,
and with a wave of magic wands,
our square root signs become unglued,
and love for me has been renewed.

XD this is the movie I stayed up watching (alone) during our sleepover at Kanluran for the cheerdance. it's really funny, but I actually prefer white castle (the prequel) which is much more socially irrelevant which makes it all the funnier. Although.. the poem is an interesting touch, very cute, very NICE! haha XD

a day in the life

Woke up, got out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, i noticed i was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
Somebody spoke and i went into a dream
Ah..

I can't believe I put myself in this shitty predicament that is this week. What the hell was I thinking when I signed up for the cheerdance? I really don't know what got into me. Now I'm running late for practice. No more time for whining. Gotta go and practice my eggroll.. XD

strawberry fields forever

Let me take you down
cause I'm going to strawberry fields
nothing is real
and nothing to get hung about
strawberry fields forever

Living is easy with eyes closed
misunderstanding all you see
it's getting hard to be someone
but it all works out
it doesn't matter much to me

No one I think is in my tree
I mean it must be high or low
that is you can't, you know, tune in
but it's all right
that is I think it's not too bad

Always know, sometimes, think it's me
but you know I know when it's a dream
I think, I know, I mean, Ah yes!
but it's all wrong
that is I think I disagree

Let me take you down
cause I'm going to strawberry fields
nothing is real
and nothing to get hung about
strawberry fields forever..

what happens when you get tagged?!

  • each blogger must post these rules first.
  • each blogger starts with six random facts/habits about themselves.
  • bloggers who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their six things and post these rules.
  • at the end of your blog, you need to choose six people to get tagged and list their names.
  • don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
  1. SINGING BEE CHAMPION. i have this weird habit for memorizing song lyrics after hearing it for maybe twice, especially those songs that i happen to like immediately and songs that I don't even like i just randomly blurt out singing even though i don't really want to, i don't know, i just subconsciously catch on the words and the tune. so that's what they call me ;) hehe may kasamang kindat kasi char lang yon, pero hindi nga ;P
  2. BEATLE BUGGED. i'm currently listening to the beatles. i'm going through this phase that i am totally addicted to the beatles. i admit i'm an amateur when it comes to the beatles, but someone in UP sang this song when I first came in, it was Across the Universe, I searched for the lyrics, then I stumbled upon a few other songs, and then the new season of American Idol came and I was hooked.
  3. HAIL MANDY MOORE. I have this secret thing for mandy moore right now.shhhh..hindi na siya secret. i re watched a walk to remember this summer and since then i've kept her in high esteem. Shit! she's just so Goddamn immaculate.
  4. I go gooey over romantic movies. I don't like chick flicks so I don't watch them but when I do end up watching them, I go all, I don't know, gooey? don't be too hard on me. ;)
  5. I did something really bad back in high school. I'm not proud of it, though I don't think I would (or could) have changed it. I wouldn't care to elaborate 'coz I'm pretty sure some of you know the details. ;)

You're so vain, you probably think this blog post is about you

Be warned. I can very much talk shit behind anybody's back, but it's all the more rewarding if i do it up front, which I am and most certainly capable of.

I can do it with much prudence, diplomacy and discretion that you wouldn't know what's coming to you.

I admit I talk plenty of dung but no other dunghead can feed off my crap.

If you are indeed vain to think that this blog post is about you then you are absolutely correct.

I can very well let this slide. but I daresay Nemo me impune la cessit

NO ONE ATTACKS ME WITH IMPUNITY

Don't say I didn't warn you ;)

Of football, ice cream, and lactic acid formation

or as Joie would put it, lactic acid fermentation..hehe well, for the entire week, i couldn't wait to go home..so I was practically bursting with joy at the end of our last period.Yes, i get homesick, a lot..beats me. Anyway, just when we were about to finally go home, we were challenged to a game of soccer, so, we obliged, the rest was a blur. in a nutshell, what started out as a game of boys vs. girls ended up as the original group of boys and anyone who joined in after that, with plenty of splits, slides, spills even cases of confused goalposts (oh, it was only me). We had fun, even though half the time we couldn't see anything. it was amazing we could still recognize each other. The game ended in a tie. I scored one and saved one (i had to split for this one, i send all my regards to the mud), but the rest of my attempts were all a far cry from the goal..XD We only had to stop because i guess it was too dark and because a tie was reached.
after that, Kyle treated us to a tub of ice cream that we devoured with a set of plastic spoons like a pack of starve-driven wolves in a bench facing the mintal highway. There were only 6 of us, the others had to attend cheerdance practice (hehe). We hung out for a while..eating chips and drinking canned softdrinks.. it was fun staring at the passing trucks and jeepneys and talking the time away.
now, i'm suffering from cramps and aches covering my entire body.due to lactic acid formation, according to our highly enthusiastic PE teacher (ma'am chorva) or fermentation according to Joie (hehe, peace out! XD). Mind you, we should have followed the former's advice for warming up stretching before any workout, but no doubt, i'm up for another round of football! ;)
